What a gorgeous place for photographs. So much fun walking and running around all the gardens. What a great place to relax and or be goofy.
Its a must see in Hamilton.
Hello everyone. This session was so amazing. Just after a hail storm on a August winters day. I almost suggested we wait for another day. We were so lucky that it actually stopped hailing and warmed up enough to go outside and have some fun.
A Waikato rural background, boots and shawls were a great combo.
If you would like a session just like this, hit the contact tab at the top, I will be sure to get back to you.
Thanks for viewing, have a happy day
Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a quick moment to show off some new overlays that are available online in my store Overlays for Photographers. And also to let you all know that products are now instant downloads.
I have new Feathers, Fairy Wings, Underwater Sea World Life, such as fish and coral and also some adorable new baby chicks and other farm birds for those fun composites.
These packs are joining the Unicorn Horns, Butterflies and Cloud overlays.
The fairy wings are lined so that you can drop the opacity of the wing and make them more transparent to your background, completely see through or solid. There are instructions included so be sure to read them.
The Oceans Alive set has over 20 pieces of coral and fish life to make any underwater world complete. You just need a photograph and mermaid or two and then you can create a dreamy story.
Have a great day

So recently I had this little one visit for some photos and wowzas! They came out gorgeous and I was crazy enough to edit the whole lot in black and white. Which of course I never, ever do. And most importantly, I learn't from this session, that chocolate always helps. A lot! A must for every session, for bribery. I don't know why I haven't used it before.
Eventually, I will get around to editing a few in colour one day, but for now I just love them in black and white.
Her quiet nature and innocence shines through. And that little cheeky side came out too. If you don't believe me take a look. It's all there in black and white.
And also I added a touch of magic on the very last image. And why not? Every little girl loves magic.
So it has been a while since I have shared a few images. We have had a rush of crazy lately, and just when I feel like i want to hibernate. Life is never dull.
I have managed to take photos of my eldest son for this year, although I have not conquered both of my sons together in a session yet. I love the light in these images and how relaxed he looks.
The time is flying by and I am hoping to have one more nice warm light lit evening to get them both, while they aren't covered in mud. I hate leaving things to the last minute. Ha ha I have already started Christmas shopping. I kid you not!
There is a thought Christmas shopping. Some beautiful images for the Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles for Christmas? Yes! Definitely! They would love it! Drop me a line if you have any questions about a session.
I hope you enjoyed these, and seriously start thinking ahead for Christmas, you wont regret it
Have a happy day
I love this time of year. This is when I round up my two sons and make them look like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. I kid you not. Summers harsh light is dwindling and we get these lovely warm long overcast days.
I get all giddy and excited to see the difference in one whole year in their portraits. Although I have to do their sessions separately, as the chaos with my two boys and one session is a little too much. My Mr 6 year old loves clothing, and having to look like a certain young pop star and he has to wear the right colours that match, and the more buttons on a shirt the better. Even though I think he could look great in overalls and grease.
I really enjoy having these fun times and the kids love the attention. Now for Mr 10 year old.....
Have a Happy day
